What I'm doing right now

I am back home in Brooklyn. The trees outside my window have burst into green leaves! My playwriting class at Flatbush Community Theater is going well. I'm happy to announce that Brooklyn Artery will be hosting my students' presentation of their work on June 30! I also taught a playwriting workshop last week to high schoolers as part of Oye Group's New Beginnings Program.

What I'm Writing and Working On

I'm back to working on Chop Suey, my play about the connection between the Chinese Communist Party and the Black Panthers set in a Chinese takeout restaurant.

I am still looking for a male Chinese actor late 20s - mid 30s based in NYC for an upcoming production. Specifically someone who grew up in Mainland China, or understands deeply what it is like to grow up there.
